Andreas Piper was born in 1966, in Bochum, Germany.
He speaks perfect German and good English, as well as good Portuguese.
In University, he studied Theatre Science, and later completed a post-graduation in expressive arts therapy.
He fell in love with Portugal in 1990 when he was a student on an Erasmus Programme.
In 2003, he was invited to join Operation Red Nose (ONV), where he began his specialization as a clown in health care.
Since 2014, he has regularly taught at the Lisbon theatre school, Inimpetus.
Andreas started working as a wedding celebrant in 2014 and he highly enjoys his job.
