Church Wedding or Church Blessing

Please indicate if they are different for bride and groom.

Since a church wedding in Portugal is automatically legally valid, we need to organise the civil wedding process. If you are already legally married you can have your marriage blessed in church.

Civil/Legal and/or Church wedding

We use the designation 'Spouse A' and 'Spouse B', so that this form can serve hetero and same-sex couples.

If you are getting civilly married, not in church, we recommend warmly and strongly to you to add a Celebration Ceremony (http://www.weddingportugal.com/ceremony-requirements/celebration-ceremonies/) to your civil wedding, since the legal civil ceremony lacks on the emotional side.

Celebration/Symbolic Ceremony or Vow Renewal

We offer as well a multi-language ceremonies.

Outdoors we recommend to have a microphone available above 25 guests, indoors above 40 guest. Depends as well on the condition on the day e.g. wind and waves on the beach, distance of your guests (e.g. sitting or standing), acoustics of the venue.
